Also, receiving the highest honor in FFA, the State Degree, were Paige, Karen Buettner, Hallie Casto, and Amber Frauen.

   The Northwest High School FFA Chapter also did well in a number of other areas at the convention.

- The freshman ag science team of Michaela Baker, Matt Hall-Houghton, Katie Ostermeier and Charlotte Myers received a white ribbon.
- Miranda Baxter, junior, received a silver medal for extemporaneous speaking.
- Karen Buettner, senior, placed third in specialty animal production.
- Sydney Paige, senior, placed third in public speaking.
